DigiQuatics is 100% hosted in the cloud. No software needs to be installed on any local servers, workstations, or mobile devices.

DigiQuatics can be accessed via any of the following web browsers at https://digiquatics.com:

  • Google Chrome

  • Microsoft Edge

  • Chromium

  • FireFox

  • Apple Safari

If websites are whitelisted for access through firewalls, the following CDNs (content delivery networks) need to be allowed for styling assets, fonts, and other resources to load properly.

DigiQuatics does not currently have a native mobile app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. DigiQuatics is 100% mobile-responsive so the user interface works elegantly on any desktop, laptop, tablet, and other mobile devices. If you would like to add a "shortcut" to your Home Screen to access DigiQuatics like a mobile app, you can follow this tutorial.

Security Information

Reliability

DigiQuatics is hosted on Digital Ocean. Digital Ocean has a 99.99% uptime service level agreement (SLA). For more information visit: https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/resources/policies/

Data Storage

All data is backed up daily on our database servers and also offloaded to another availability region for redundancy. Our database is backed-up daily; a minimum of 90 days of back-ups are retained. Backups are encrypted and are stored in multiple regions to ensure security and availability when needed. Data records are kept for no less than seven years, complying with industry standards. All your data is available for export upon request at any time.

Data Security

DigiQuatics is built on top of the Ruby on Rails platform. All passwords are encrypted using the "bcrypt" security method via the Devise gem to hash passwords to ensure the best protection of user data.

Network Security

All transmitted data is secured in order to prevent leakage of sensitive information. This involves the use of strong network traffic encryption, i.e. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and the Transport Layer Security (TLS). DigiQuatics uses CloudFlare to protect from online threats ranging from nuisances like comment spam and excessive bot crawling to malicious attacks like SQL injection and denial of service (DoS) attacks. CloudFlare provides security protection against all of these types of threats and more.

Development

DigiQuatics uses industry-standard libraries and testing frameworks to continuously test for security vulnerabilities. Automated patches are performed to ensure any identified security vulnerabilities get patched as soon as possible.

Our team is happy to coordinate with your organization's IT department standards and service level agreement (SLA). For more information please email [email protected].
