Shift Reports in DigiQuatics

Simplify and Organize Your Paper and Digital Records According to Your Schedule. Filter in Seconds for Incident Reports, Employees, and more

Shift Reports Overview

The baby sister to Custom Forms, Shift Reports in DigiQuatics is your go-to module to make your first transition from paper to digital!

Train any staff with access to this module to snap digital photocopies from their phones in order to quickly document and secure any sensitive paper forms as an attachment to any shift report.

Other managers choose to require one shift report per day. There is a toggle to indicate if an incident report was filed (this will depend on your organizational definition of what constitutes an "incident" and requires escalation). The best part? You can filter any/all Shift Reports within seconds to quickly see when incident reports were filed.

Leverage Shift Reports to Mitigate Against Liability

Not only can you filter your Shift Reports in seconds in the event of an audit, but you can also see detailed history of which staff updating any Shift Report record. Additionally, you'll find both PDF generation and comments available, rounding off this module's key features.

Sentiment Analysis and Smart tags feature

When submitting a Shift Report, wait a few minutes, refresh the page where you can read the shift report and a "Sentiment analysis" should show up.

Sentiment Analysis is a feature that gauges the overall "feel" of the Shift Report text by analyzing the words used. For example, if a guard wrote "I am so happy I could dance right now" it would yield positive results, whereas if there were words used indicating a negative situation, that analysis would conversely be reflected. It is simply a measure of reported sentiment provided  by employees on their reports.

Smart tags give a snapshot of the actual words used on a Shift Report. For example, if your head guard writes "Molly had a simple assist this morning for a senior lap swimmer" then the word assist would appear as a smart tag, along with senior.

The Sentiment Analysis feature is only visible to Admin in DigiQuatics. This feature is likely to be removed in early 2026.
